Atelier Lumière was founded in 2012 on Tanjong Pagar Road with one easel, one kettle and a stubborn belief that everybody draws.
Our philosophy
Slow craft, kind feedback, real materials.
We do not believe in pre-printed canvases, traceable outlines, or "everyone paints the same thing tonight." Every student leaves with a piece that is unmistakably theirs.
Our classes are small — eight at most — because attention is the real teaching. Our instructors are exhibiting artists, because the best way to learn an art is from someone still making it.
